Semi-permanent eyebrow makeup techniques

Eyebrow micropigmentation is a semi-permanent, non-invasive treatment that can create a more defined brow for cosmetic or paramedical purposes. As an experienced cosmetic artist, Claire’s techniques complement each patient’s natural brow shape, hair growth and colouring, using one of four methods of correction:
Hair stroke – also known as feathering or microblading, this technique mimics the look of natural, ultra-fine hairs.
Powder finish – this method achieves a similarly natural look with a mist-like finish that’s slightly softer than microblading.
Gap correction – this treatment applies the best method to restore your natural brows after scarring.
Combination – this method combines both powder finish and hairstrokes for a naturally low maintenance brow style.

What to expect at your eyebrow tattoo appointment

Before your treatment, you will receive a consultation with a tailored treatment plan and micropigmentation enhancement template to ensure you’re happy with your planned look prior to application.

Your consultation and treatment will take approximately two and a half hours, with the highest standards in hygiene, safety, technology and products guaranteed throughout.
Please note: all patients should follow their individual pre-treatment instructions for best results. This may include advice on avoiding certain medications and products.

What to expect after your appointment

Immediately after your appointment, your eyebrows may appear darker than expected for one to two weeks while the pigment settles. Once fully healed, your result will be natural and softer. If any touch-ups are required, you can schedule a perfection visit within the first eight weeks after treatment.

Caring for your eyebrow tattoo

Unlike standard tattoos, a natural-looking eyebrow tattoo is not permanent. However, it is long-lasting; with proper care, you should enjoy the results of your micropigmentation treatment for up to a year or more.

After your treatment, it is vital to follow the aftercare instructions for best results:
Use a dry, cold compress for any swelling that occurs in the first 24 hours.
Use antiseptic balm once daily for the first seven to ten days.
Avoid cleaning or scrubbing the treated area until fully healed.
Do not pluck or remove any eyebrow hairs after treatment.
Do not pick at scabs or flakiness.
Apply sunscreen (SPF 50+) at all times after the healing process is complete.
